Meet Jeff Nicholson

Jeff Nicholson, the auctioneer and owner/operator of McDowell Mountain Auction & Real Estate, LLC, has a wide variety of background and experience that will make your auction a success. Jeff became interested in the auction industry after learning of the industry from his dad who the most prominent auctioneer in the county Jeff grew up in Oklahoma.

Jeff has been a project manager in commercial construction for over twenty years in metropolitan Phoenix as well as spending three years in Washington DC building hotels with the Marriott Corporation. While in Phoenix he has managed a wide variety of projects from tenant improvements, industrial retrofits, healthcare construction, to multimillion dollar mid rise condominium projects.

Jeff has had a career as a pilot as well. Jeff carries an Airline Transport Pilot license along with a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument and Multi Engine Instructor with thousands of hours of flight time some of which is with a major airline.

With the above experience Jeff has learned to operate under pressure and to complete tasks on schedule as required. Jeff has also learned that customer service is paramount in maintaining clientele. Many traits you can count on dealing with Jeff Nicholson is: professionalism, honesty, courtesy, personalized service and hard work.

Jeff is a competitive action pistol shooter and competes internationally. He currently serves on the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE) board of directors as the Rules Director. He is a certified Chief Range Officer and serves locally as a match director and an assistant chief range master for both the USPSA Area II Regional Championship and the Superstition Mountain Mystery Three Gun match both in Mesa Arizona. Jeff is often consulted to determine value of fire arms.
